Todd Murray _____________________________________________
A veteran crooner for almost 20 years, Todd has toured with the group “Re-Creation,” sung backup for many Nashville singers, and was a lead singer on the luxury cruise line Royal Viking as well as for Disney in Tokyo. Todd then went on to various roles at Paper Mill Playhouse, the lead in New York Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers,” and the first touring company of “The Secret Garden” to name just a few.
A Fellow of The Eugene O’Neill Cabaret Symposium, Todd’s first cabaret show, “Let’s Face the Music,” premiered at Hollywood's famous "Cinegrill” and was named LA Weekly’s Cabaret Pick of the Week. His latest show, “When I Sing Low: Romance In A Different Key,” is currently touring the country. (See News/Shows for upcoming dates.)
Todd’s recently-released debut album, “When I Sing Low,” which includes a wide range of standards, was recently selected as one of the “Best of 2002 Vocal Albums” by Talkin’ Broadway. Todd can also be heard singing in “Showgirls: Glitz and Angst” (part of this season’s HBO series “America Undercover”) as well as in the Sundance 2003 Special Jury Award-winning feature film “Die, Mommy, Die!” (screenplay by Charles Busch).
